Why the delay?

Report suggests that, The SBI officials are still not clear on the interview process. We would also like to inform you that most of the exams conducted under the govt. of India has already scrapped the interview process. So, it is most likely that SBI Clerk JA and JAA Mains Results will be final stage, and candidates will be shortlisted based on the Mains exam results.

Earlier, it was expected that, the SBI will declare the results on 31st August, but now it has been delayed and no new dates has been announced. The candidates will be selected against 17, 000 posts of JA & JAA.

Certain number of candidates SBI Clerk JA And JAA Mains Result 2016 will be called for interview round depending on the number of SBI Clerk vacancies. As per the announcement of Central Government in the year 2015, interview stages for Group B, C and D non-gazetted recruitment processes have been scrapped from January 1, 2016. A formal communication regarding the scrapping of interview stage is still awaited from the bank.
