Good News, for all the candidates who attended or appeared for the entrance exam(Medicine) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board(WBJEB) can now check their results at the official website of the West Bengal Board  www.wbjee.nic.in

The Entrance Examination (Medicine) conducted by West Bengal Entrance Examination Board on July 20th this year across the state at nearly 151 centers. As per the board huge number of candidates appeared for the examination. And there is something the aspirants should know about this is that one of the aspirant named Chandrachur Mondal, resident of Salt Lake,has topped the examination. This news is as per the reports of the board.

Step-2:Click on the appropriate link which you are looking for.

Step-3:Enter the required information for getting the results like Roll number,Date Of Birth.

Step-4:Click On Submit which displays you’r results on screen

It is advised to all the candidates to save their results by taking prints or gmail

The counselling will begin from August 28th 2016 at 10 am, and will continue till 4 pm on September 30th.

This is the last time the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) was conducted under the WBJEE board as from 2017 onwards, aspiring engineering and medical students will appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Statements from Sajal Dasgupta, chairman of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam board:

  • Approximately 75,862 candidates had applied for the examination, out of which 54,889 wrote the test.
  • Out of which 12,183 candidates made it to the merit list
  • A total of 7,672 male (62.97 per cent) and 4,511 female students (37.03 per cent) are there in the merit list

According to an Indian Express report, three candidates from Kolkata secured the First, Third and Sixth Rank.
