According to the reports, SSC is going to declare its CGL tier 1 exam result on October 7. Candidate should note that SSC has not released any notification regarding the exact date of result. The authorities of SSC had still not fixed the date for tier 2 exam.

According to SSC Tube, an active Facebook group and website which focuses on SSC exams and has come well placed sources inside, the Commission has fixed the schedule for Tier 2 exam. The CGL tier 2 examinations 2016 will be conducted from 9th November to 11th November, 2016.

The facebook page of SSC Tube says that “CGL tier 2 paper-1 & 2 will be held in two days in 2 different shifts i. e. On 9th & 10th November. Paper-3 & 4 will be held on 11th November 2016″. Although SSC Tube is not official but the group has been reliable source on news and information related to SSC exams.

Steps to see the SSC CGL tier 1 result 2016:-

  • Go to the official website of SSC – www.ssc.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “CGL tier 1 result”.
  • Enter all the required details.
  • Result will be displayed on your screen.
  • You can take the print out of it for future reference.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments. It was formed on 4 November 1975. On 26th September 1977, Subordinate Services Commission was renamed as Staff Selection Commission

The functions of Staff Selection Commission were redefined by The Government of India through Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on 21st May 1999. Then the new constitution and functions of Staff Selection Commission came into effect from 1st June 1999.
